What is the value-add of women on your board and senior team?

If you value a corporate culture where everyone feels included and numerous perspectives are encouraged, having women in senior leadership positions is important.

We've done this, and our results speak for themselves: continued growth on an annual basis throughout the recession and the technology downturn. In the quarter ended June 30, 2004, we posted record quarterly net sales, quarterly net income, and quarterly earnings per share.


What do you tell CEOs seeking to increase women representation?

Look for the best possible people...a good percentage of them are women.

What can be done to accelerate positive change?

Adopt a perspective of including people with diverse backgrounds and points-of-view in your organization. This will improve your company's chances of success.
